Motion to To approve the vacation of the existing frontage road along 1901 East Palm Canyon Drive subject to the attached conditions of approval; as amended:
ENG 15. The existing 8 inch sewer main in the frontage road is to remain in place with a 20 feet wide public sewer easement (centered on sewer main) dedicated to the City of Palm
Springs. The public sewer easement shall be shown on the landscape plan and no trees shall be planted within the easement.ENG 17. Abandon the existing public sanitary sewer main located in the existing frontage road approximately 82 feet south of the centerline of E. Palm Canyon Drive. Construct the proposed sewer main in E. Palm Canyon Drive along the project frontage as required by the City Engineer. Submit sewer improvement plans prepared by a California registered civil engineer to the Engineering Division. The plans shall be approved by the City Engineer prior to issuance of any permit.
ENG 18. The on-site private sewer system shall connect to the proposed public sewer main with a standard lateral connection in accordance with City of Palm Springs Standard Drawing No. 405.
ENG 19. All sewer mains constructed by the developer and to become part of the City sewer system shall be digitally video recorded by the City prior to acceptance of the sewer system for maintenance by the City. Any defects of the sewer main shall be removed, replaced, or repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer prior to acceptance.
ENG 20. Upon completion of the construction of public sewer lines, an as-built drawing in digital format shall be provided to the City as required by the City Engineer, if the sewer was not constructed in accordance with the original approved sewer plans.
